Mr. Haitham Etemad
Procurement consultant and trainer
Mr. Haitham is a procurement consultant, trainer and CEO of ABC Academy for Training and Consulting, a consulting and skills development services company dedicated to supplying and empowering procurement talent, and is the first CIPS accredited study center in Egypt. He works as a certified trainer and consultant in the field of procurement and supply and has more than 20 years of international experience in various fields.

Professor Haitham Etemad specializes in defining and updating management and procurement strategies, business plans, policies, procedures, process workflows, implementing the ERP system, and implementing agreements with international companies. By providing specialized training programs in the field of supply chains and procurement, It offers short courses, training programs, and professional certificates in this field.
Professor Haitham has held a variety of positions in procurement and supply chain management in various industries, including the oil and gas, construction and healthcare industries internationally. In his most recent role with Sidra Medical and Research Center in Qatar, he led the procurement function for goods and services, managing a diverse spend portfolio and team across multiple countries.
In addition to being a CIPS qualified trainer, Mr. Haitham is a founding member of the CIPS Egypt chapter and an active member of the Egyptian procurement community, where he works to develop and enhance the skills of procurement professionals to be aware of all challenges related to procurement in Egypt and the Middle East. He was also a member of the CIPS Qatar Executive Committee as Education Liaison Officer, and was actively working within the procurement community through CIPS Qatar events and outreach sessions.
